forth upon the land, upon young and old, and the word of
the Lord has gone forth. God has heaped warning upon
warning. From early morning to late at night, the airwaves
are filled with trumpet calls, warnings, pleadings, be-
seechers and prophesiers. God has warned this nation in
love, hoping and pleading for a people to seek Him and
call upon Him for help.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward
you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of
evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye
call upon me . . . and I will hearken unto you.
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall
search for me with all your heart.
(Jeremiah 29:11-13 KJV)
The message of all the true prophets of the Lord has
been the same as delivered to the prophet Jeremiah and
his generation:
Do not provoke God to anger with the
works of your hands; and He will do you no hurt
But if you will not hearken to the message of
the Lord, and provoke Him to anger . . . the
whole land will become a desolation and an aston-
ishment.
(Jeremiah 25:6,7,11)
Judgment is coming soon because we have provoked
God to anger by not heeding His warnings.

12. Refusing God's Hour of Visitation
God sends judgment when men reject their "hour of
visitation." Jesus stood over Jerusalem weeping, be-
cause that city was about to fall under judgment for
"knowing not the time of visitation."
And when he was come near, he beheld the city,
and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known,
even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which
