Relation prepositions
The words mine, yours etc., in Hebrew are derived from the word ֶּשל
OF - ֶּשל
mine ֶש ִלי
yours (m.) ֶש ְלָך
yours (f.) ֶש ָלְך
Examples:
Who is your (noun)? ? ֶּש ָלְך/ ִמי ַה _______ ֶּש ְלָך
Question ?ִמי המֹו ָרה ֶש ְלָך
Who is your (m.) teacher (f.)?
Who is your (f.) teacher (f.)? ?ִמי המֹו ָרה ֶש ָלְך
Answer
(Name) is my (Noun) … ֶּש ִליNoun ...Name
Orly is my teacher (f.) .אֹו ְר ִלי המֹו ָרה ֶש ִלי
Moshe is my teacher (m.) .ֹמ ֶשה המֹו ֶרה ֶש ִלי
