STAGE 1
As the program progresses, the student begins to learn basic syntax
and how to formulate proper sentences in Hebrew. The student will
also come across level-appropriate Israeli songs and stories to
enhance and enrich the learning experience. In addition, this
program strengthens the bond between the students and Israel,
builds a community of learners, and invites parents to also
participate in the learning process.
Level goals and achievements
Acquisition of an active vocabulary of about 80 new
words including nouns, pronouns, and adjectives
related to core topics within each unit
Control over basic concepts on colors, numbers, body
parts, days of the week, months of the year, weather,
food, and more
Building a grammar base (prepositions, sentence
structure) through conversational exercises
Creating basic dialogues and conversation such as: I
want… I like… What do you have… and more
This educational program is also designed to help the
student build confidence in speaking and communicating
in Hebrew. The 22 units progressively build these skills
and abilities layer by layer and are divided to be spread
throughout the academic year.
