Grade Curriculum Content and Goals
Kindergaten Balagan Getting to know the Hebrew letters (print)
and active vocabulary through experiential learning, Hebrew songs and fun!
Grade 1 Stage 1 Mastering the Hebrew Alpha-Bet (reading & writing) and basic speech in
Hebrew to first graders who don't read.
Grade 2 Stage 2-3 Improving writing and reading skills for 2-3 graders, who are familiar with the
Alpha-Bet but struggle. Holding basic conversations in Hebrew.
Grade 3 Stage 3-4 Achieving fluency and comprehension in reading for 2-4 graders, who are
familiar with the Alpha-Bet and can read slowly. Improving conversations
skills in Hebrew.
Grade 4 Stage 4 / NL Improving conversational skills using helping verbs and infinitives in Binyan
Pa’al and active vocabulary of 350 new words. Achieving fluency and
comprehension in reading.
Grade 5 Novice-Mid Mastering Binyan Pa’al - infinitives and Present tense forms, alongside
improving foundational concepts and basic dialogs related to: Acquaintance,
family, figures and characters, adjectives and history.
Grade 6 Novice High Speaking freely in Hebrew while using everyday phrases, combining Infinitives
Grade 7 and the Present tense in all the Binyanim. Experiencing Israeli culture through
E-Tone® - articles from Israeli media and news.
Inter-Low Acquiring the ability to converse freely and accurately in Hebrew about more
complex everyday topics, family and personal history using the Present and
Past tenses across all Binyanim, and mastering prepositions. Experiencing
Israeli culture through E-Tone® articles and virtual tours in different location
in Israel.
Grade 8 Inter-Mid Acquiring the ability to freely express oneself in emotional and social related
topics, and carry out complex conversations in Hebrew, using verbs across all
tenses and Binyanim. Experiencing Israeli culture through E-Tone® articles
virtual tours, and literature pieces.
