Where is the Sun?

At a time when racism rages in the streets and the President rages on Twitter, there’s one thing that
will make Americans raise (their) heads tomorrow. That is a solar eclipse that is a combination of
two factors: one, the moon passing between the Sun and the Earth, casting its shadow on us, and the
second, (you) could see the eclipse from all over the United States, ninety nine years have passed
since a similar event occurred. In most states (they’ll) only see a partial eclipse, and only a few will
get to see the full eclipse. The explanation is simple – even though the Moon is smaller than the
Sun, it’s also closer to us, and so when it passes between us and the Sun it hides it, like a small hand
close to (your) eye can hide the sun. NASA is especially preparing to document the eclipse and
learn from it. Amir Caspi, a former Israeli, heads the team preparing for the historic event. There
are already those planning to make money off this, the fourteen states where (they) will see the
eclipse in the fullest and best way, are preparing to receive millions of visitors. Israel is outside the
path where (you) could see the solar eclipse, and the closest we’ll see to that in the coming years is
just a partial eclipse in June two thousand twenty.
