Purim Enlists Too
Every year on Purim, children in Israel dress up as the (most) popular trend of that year, a character
from a successful movie, or (some) other star. This year, after five months of terrorism in Israel, the
children want to dress up as (male and female) soldiers, (male and female) police officers, and it
doesn’t matter if they’re boys or girls. The stores realize the potential and sell many options to the
kids. Usually on Purim (we) take off (our) normal clothes and wear something happy, but this year,
Israel’s children prefer to enlist.
