Mr. Seán O’Driscoll

The Board of Management would like to offer their deepest condolences to the family,

friends and colleagues of Seán O' Driscoll, who sadly passed on Tuesday 10th March 2020.

As many are aware, Seán O' Driscoll worked at the Community Centre for over a decade,

Seán had such a positive impact on so many individuals, families, groups and local

businesses in our Community and beyond, through managing the Horticulture Training

Initiative Programme. Seán’s passion and skills for landscape & gardening brought together
through training and developing skills within our Community along with his enthusiasm

and inspiration to set up our social enterprise Ballybeg Greens and the Community Garden,

will benefit our community for a long to come.

It was an absolute pleasure to have had the opportunity to of worked with Seán; he will be
very sadly missed by his colleagues and friends. We believe his spirit will live on within our

community and many households will pass on their skills and stories for many generations

to come.
