1. Post a Quote in the room (whiteboard, flipchart, etc.) relevant to the day’s material (Use
highlighted quotes in the workbook if you would like)
2. Review:
a) In lesson 1 we talked about habit and routine change. Everyone should be working on this
daily. How has this been going?
b) Who can tell me what the motivation formula is?
a. Who has a good story about a time they have used or applied the motivation scales?
c) We also discussed Pain Association Transfer and the importance of embracing pain because
with change pain is certain!
a. Who has used PAT to do something they don’t want to do in to become who they
want to become?
d) We learned about “E to the 7th Power”
a. Who can go through and name all 7 E’s?
b. Who has a story or who has an example of a way they have applied it to their life?

3. Play Video 7/Lesson 7 “Burning the Bridge”
4. Video Review and Class Dialogue:
a. Share your personal story regarding a time you have “burned the bridges” and made a
total commitment.
b. Reference: Lesson 7 Key Words
c. Open the class for dialogue, discussion and questions on this material.
5. Homework/Reading Assignment:
a. Read Lesson 7 “Burn the Bridge” in the workbook.
b. Decide where you will burn your bridge. How are you going to make a total
commitment?
