The vast majority of our students begin as either 8th or 9th graders. Over the past three and one
half years our results have been impressive. By the end of the 2014/15 academic year our
students will close in on earning 2,000 college credits.

Total Student Participants fall 2011 - Present:   573

High School Graduation 2013 & 2014 12th Graders:  100%

High School Graduates Attending College           97.9%

In addition to offering traditional college courses, we are also very proud to have accomplished
the following:

 College Visit Initiative
    Smart Scholar students have visited: Albany State University – Albany, NY; Canton
    College – Canton, NY; Clark University, Atlanta - GA; Farmingdale State College –
    Farmingdale, NY; Hofstra University – Uniondale, NY; Monmouth College – Monmouth,
    NJ; Morehouse College – Atlanta, GA; NY Technical College – Brooklyn, NY; Oswego
    State University – Oswego, NY, Sullivan County Community College – Sullivan, NY.
    Planned for April 2015: Georgetown University – Washington DC; Howard University –
    Washington DC; George Washington University – Washington DC; Lincoln University –

    Lincoln, PA.

 Exposure to Science & Technology Initiative
    Smart Scholar Students have participated in field trips to: American Museum of Natural
    History, Atlanta Aquarium, Central Park, CNN, Coca Cola, Farmingdale Nursing School,
    Farmingdale Energy Conference, Florida National Airshow, Jet Blue Airlines, Manhattan
    Edit Workshop, and Republic Airport.
    Planned for April 2015: Smithsonian Institute.
