A poem about the Ladies was discovered in the archives from December 2012, which embodied the spirit of the group. As did a video taken at the Owners Clubhouse showing the group giving an excellent rendition of 'Joleen, please don't take your love to town!', which wasre-released.
During Easter, the Ladiescheered themselvesup with pictures of chocolates, rainbows, flowers, artistic eggsand some racy photographs! One wasa shot of two rather hunky chaps with their bottom cheeks painted as Easter Eggs!). Sadly,
we can't show you that one!
"Please ask the boys to turn around!"
Not unsurprisingly, this robust group also took to their rooftops and terraces every Thursday, banging and clanging their pots for the frontline workers. It was particularly special to be able to support the convoy of local frontline workers that paraded through La Manga Club at the same time.
ladies celebrated birthdays. They were treated to well-researched emojis, more pictures from the talented artists, beautiful virtual flowers and, as places of birth from over 10 different countries were revealed. 'Happy Birthday' messages in various languages were shared. 'Penblwdd Hapus', 'Felíz Compleaños', 'Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag', 'Bon Anniversaire' and the old favourite 'Have a drink on us!'
