EnOcean Alliance offers an alternative
to battery-powered sensors. Self-
powered switches and sensors are
miniature energy harvesters, collecting
the energy created by slight changes in
pressure, temperature, light and
motion. This low-maintenance
technology is being widely used in
building automation. For example, the
WaterSensor eco utilizes fiber disks
which expand in the presence of
water; the energy generated is used to
send a message to the WaterControl
01 or Afriso gateway.

Vitrio VR App

The Vitrio VR ecosystem includes a powerful
motorized head, VR app and mobile app. The
motorized head uses a smartphone’s cameras
to capture panorama photos, so realtors can
capture, stitch and share their properties with
clients. The Vitrio mobile app allows customers
to take virtual tours of multiple listed properties,
saving transportation costs and time. We could
also see builders using Vitrio to give progress
reports to remote clients, or to check on
multiple jobsites from the office.
