The Montgomery (AL) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. con-
tinues to support the Montgomery County Sherriff Department’s efforts to provide
a safe “Trick or Treating” experience for area children. This event occurred on

October 31, 2018 on the ground floor of the Garrett Coliseum between the hours
of 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. In true “MAC” style sorors answered the call to donate and

prepare bags of treats for hundreds of River Region children who participate in
this annual event. Lines began to form outside the venue as early as 3:30 p.m.

with children of all ages adorned in their favorite costumes awaiting the mounds
of treats that were housed inside. The members of the Montgomery (AL) Alum-

nae Chapter’s Community Outreach Committee and other committed Deltas led
the way by decorating tables, delivering candy, greeting families and distributing
treat bags. In partnership with the sheriff’s department and other community or-

ganizations, we provided a fun and safe environment for all children who partici-
pated in this popular fall event. The Montgomery (AL) Alumnae Chapter is

“Committed to Impactful Service” and if you were unable to participate in this

event we look forward to working with you on next year!
