Message from President Brown
G
reetings Sorors,
Spring has sprung and our ideas of and dedication to service is ever-blooming! The
Montgomery (AL) Alumnae Chapter has been busy all year spreading seeds of advoca-
cy, hope, encouragement, determination and support throughout our service area.
Though we devote so much time and energy on serving others, we did pause during Sisterhood Month Inside The
to enjoy each other! The lunches and dinners were filled to capacity with members breaking bread and Torch
gave the opportunity for sorors to catch up with each other. Thanks to all that were able to worship Chaplain’s 2
with me and my church family. The spirit is always in the house, but it was more spirited with my sis- Corner
ters! Kudos to the Membership Services Committee for organizing these very special events.
Even though the month was filled with Sisterhood Month and chapter activities, sorors participated in Sisterhood 3-5

legislative events in the nation’s capital as well as the state capital. Four members of the chapter trav-
eled to Washington D.C. to attend the 30th Delta Days at the Nation’s Capital and several members Sister Circle 6
attended the Alabama Delta Days at the Capital (DDAC). The Chapter served as host to two very in-
