Course/Practice Facility
Q4. If you could make one suggestion to make the practice facilities better what would it be?
• If the bunkers had better sand, the tee boxes were mowed everyday, and a walking path from tee
boxes would make the course absolutely amazing.
• Good course conditions and a low price are the only important things to me. Everything else is
bonus.
• Greens get too tough when they become too firm and fast. It's not a fun course for the majority
of golfers. Make the greens more forgiving and more golfers would want to play it.
• More forgiving greens and better pin placement. Course is too tough for the majority of golfers
• Level out & better maintenance to maintain levels.
• I strongly support the initiative to remove some of the bunkers on the golf course to save
maintenance fees and improve playability.
• Better maintained practice bunkers.
• Artificial turf mats for the frosty/rainy winter period.
• Fix the bunkers - they are horrendous. It literally makes guests not want to play
• A pro casually there once in a while to give pointers.
• More range targets with yardages, improved greens.
• Some covered areas.
• Improve the quality of the golf balls.
• Love the course. Staff is fantastic and unpretentious.
• Improved chipping green - level out the mounds.
• Need chairs.
• Improve drainage, grass is mucky / sand traps are awful.
• Course maintenance is key.
• Club should consider white sand.
• Keep monthly dues low unless making major changes/improvements like white sand.
• Open earlier on Thursday mornings.
• Improving the “bell” system.
• Extra Large buckets as an option.
• Fix the ball pusher black pipe that always falls apart.
• More forgiving greens and better pin placement.
• Course is too tough for the majority of golfers.
• Better course conditions to encourage beginner golfers.
• Either people/culture or practice facilities.
• A great grass practice facility.
• Fix the bunkers - they are horrendous. It literally makes guests not want to play.
• Better quality of sand in green side bunkers.
• I would like to see more work done on the bunkers rather than focusing on the construction of
yellow tee boxes. I understand the importance of why the club has been implementing yellow
tee boxes. However, as a whole, I think we create more value for our members by taking better
care of our bunkers.
• I understand that budgetary constrains may limit the early season maintenance on the course so
