The Creation of a Legacy

Girl Scout Troop 2007 consisting of 8th grade students at
Meadowbrook Middle School in Poway Unified School
District collaborated with Sonali Soni of Studio S in
Scripps Ranch to paint two impressive murals on the
front walls bracketing the entrance to the school.

What's more, the mural designs were from 8th grade stu-
dents from the computer graphic arts (CGA) class! (The
designs were adapted from a mural design contest that
the troop organized with the help of the CGA teacher.)

The girls gave a big shoutout to everyone who made this
project possible, including troop parents and Sonali Soni
for their guidance, and the teachers and school adminis-
tration for their support.

Kudos to the troop for creating this legacy! The MBMS
community loves this magnificent facelift and will cher-
ish the murals for many years to come.
