                  HOW TO BE
                                                                                                                              Creating the BE Experience

The community entrance is one of the first visual touchpoints for prospects, residents, and guests. Depending on
your community, exterior entry spaces should be adorned with planters and arrangements that match the
                                   community décor, style, and brand.

More traditional styles may incorporate a “Filler, Spiller, Thriller” design, with greenery or petals that create
volume, lush vines that flow over the edges, and dramatic blooms a focal point. For more sleek, modern styles,

consider decorative branches and strong, non-fussy flower types in colors that complement the decor and brand.

                                   • Rotate planters either quarterly to match the seasons or three times annually

                                   • Consider evergreens and/or perennials that require less maintenance and rotation

                                   • All mid-rise and high-rise communities must have planters

                                   • At garden-style communities, well-landscaped grounds and entry areas may suffice, with no additional
                                       planters required
