REPORT OF THE
TOWN CLERK
My goal is and always will be to provide exceptional
services to the residents of Middleborough. Assistant
Town Clerk, Tayla Bennett, was recently appointed as a
Justice of the Peace, allowing the ofice to expand its
services to include performing marriage ceremonies.
Conducting marriages is a service that we are not only
happy to provide, but look forward to continuing
throughout the years.
2024 was a year of great accomplishments, and none of it
would have been possible without the incredible team in
this ofice. A heartfelt thank you is deserving to Laura,
Tayla, Maribeth, and Sam for their remarkable teamwork,
dedication, and professionalism. Beyond their hard work,
they’ve fostered a work environment that’s not only
productive but also welcoming and fun. Their
commitment to creating a positive and supportive
atmosphere has been key to our success and growth
through such a busy year.
In closing, I would also like to express appreciation to the
Select Board, Town Manager Jay McGrail and Human
Resources Director Allison Ferreira, for their ongoing
support of this ofice and their assistance navigating
through an incredibly busy year in 2024. I look forward to
continuing to serve the residents of Middleborough and
commit to an ongoing dedication to ensure the Town
Clerk’s ofice remains a friendly, welcoming environment
to all.
