David Dillon and Caroline O’Keeffe continued their trojan efforts to photograph our games
and again we had assistance from Veronica McMahon, Willie O’Reilly, Seamus McElligott,
Aidan Ryan as well as the media photographers.
The 2020 initiative, one of whose aims was to increase coverage by 20%, may have been
dealt a blow by the arrival of COVID however with Clubs & Counties all using live streaming
to broadcast games more people than ever had the opportunity to watch our game.

Lastly, I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who rowed in behind Clare
Camogie to Croker and Back. From Mike Duggan who planted the seed for the fundraiser to
the County Executive to the management to the players to the media. Special mention must
go to Mary McMahon, Chloe Morey, Ciara Grogan, Dervilla Moloney and the irrepressible
Anne Marie McGann who ran the social media campaign. It was massive undertaking and I
think it’s only now that I am starting to realise how big. It was an absolute pleasure to get to
visit each of our 26 Clubs and the hospitality, welcome and generosity extended was second
to none. Every Club played their part, but I have to pay special tribute to my own Club Ruan
– the turnout, the flags, the signs, the welcome and the support that last evening is a
memory that I will cherish forever.

2020 is nearing its end, lets all stay safe for the remainder of the year and look forward to
2021.
