At the March County Board meeting the two candidates for President of the Camogie Association, Hilda Breslin
and Ailish Whitty, spoke to the members.

The U14 development squad finished on March 1st with a blitz in Parteen with 8 teams taking park.

A foundation referee course took place in FMP on March 6th, and a coaching foundation course on March 7th.
As many of the previous weeks inter-county fixtures were postponed due to bad weather, it was decided to
begin the county league second round on April 5th, with the fixtures committee rescheduling round 1 when
there was more clarity on national re-fixtures. Some games did take place with Clare Junior’s beating Louth,
but Clare Seniors and U16As losing to Waterford, the U16Bs losing to Limerick and the Minors losing to
               Kilkenny.
However, on March 11th the country went into lockdown and all further Camogie activity was suspended for
               the foreseeable future.

               April 2020
               No county board meeting held.

The suspension of all games was extended from April 19th to May 5th.

Registration deadline was moved to the end of May.
Online officer training courses and coaching webinar sessions were held.

The Senior girls took part in the ShineYourLight campaign via social media on April 11th. Some also took part in
               the Active Home Week 2020.
A lot of work was able to be carried out on FMP, which was scarified, verti-drained, sanded, reseeded and
fertilized. The pandemic has been good for FMP!

               May 2020
               No county board meeting held.

All activities were further suspended until July 20th.
The Clare LGFA challenged Clare Camogie to do the 1000KM challenge in a week. The Senior team and
management (and others) responded by completing over 2500 km in the 7 days, and raising almost €6000 for
Slainte an Chlair, the Irish Cancer Society and Jigsaw – Youth Mental Health. The Minors and Juniors took part
in the Irish Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser challenge.
Clare received the first part of the Munster development grant. We received the amount of €1520 for
development projects completed by March 2020
               June 2020
               No county board meeting held.

Clubs were allowed to return to training from June 5th in pods of 15, with no contact. All attendees have to fill
in a health questionnaire before every training session and all teams need a Covid Officer to ensure
compliance with the Return to Play Guidelines issued jointly by the CA, GAA and LGFA.

The fixtures committee was very busy during the month completing a post-covid fixtures plan, with games
originally set to start from July 31st and then changed to July 17th.

A report from Munster stated that they would not be running an adult championship in 2020. An U16
championship was planned and a Minor competition would be scheduled for October. The shinty trip to
               Scotland was also cancelled.

               July 2020
A county board meeting was held in the Woodstock Hotel on July 6th, adhering to all HSE guidelines.
