exclude them before starting the game.

Have students use at least 3 different shapes of pattern blocks to make a star.
If they make a shape using 2 different shapes of pattern blocks, have them redo it using 3 shapes.
The first team to make 4 stars wins.
Example: Make a star using 3 different shapes of pattern blocks.
