Listening Comprehension

Eating well is good not only for your body, but also for stress. Not getting
enough nutrition can cause great stress. Many people eat their meals in a hurry, often
from unhealthy fast food restaurants. Some people skip meals altogether, or eat small,
unhealthy snack foods like potato chips. This affects the level of sugars in the blood,
which can cause changes in mood. The changes in mood also lead to greater stress.
Therefore, you can avoid stress if you keep eating a good diet.

Depression can be difficult to overcome. But a diet that includes a lot of fish may
help you recover faster. Research shows that depression is less common in countries
that eat a lot of fish. Other foods can help you as well. Special proteins in turkey, for
example, can bring a feeling of well-being and relaxation. Foods that are high in
magnesium may also help. These include spinach, black beans, and some seeds.
