B WRITING TO YOUR AUDIENCE
Think about your AUDIENCE while you are writing. Always ask yourself,
“Who will be reading this?” You should know your AUDIENCE because it
will determine:
• How you choose your words
• How formal or informal your writing will be
• What tone you use
