STRATEGY 4 : DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION

TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURES

The PDMO database and information technology (IT) system has been continuously developed over
the years and it has become an important tool for PDMO to achieving public debt management efficiency and

accuracy.
In the fiscal year of 2009, PDMO completed the development of IT infrastructure system and internal

network. The objective of the development is to increase PDMO efficiency in providing better services for
government agencies and private sectors.

The IT development plan had been introduced according to the Computer-Related Crime Act B.E.
2550 (2007). The enhancements include the improvement of the network security system that will prevent

problems that may affect the internal IT system. As part of this development plan, PDMO had also integrated
systems with new equipments to make the IT system and its network more efficient. The main systems that

were integrated are as follows:

- Wireless LAN
- Authentication System

- Patch Management and Network Management
- Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)

- Antivirus Software: NOD32
- Computer Backup System

- Server Room (Electrical Backup System, Access Control, Water Leak System, Fire Suppression
System: FM-200, and Precision Air Conditioning System)
