I take great pleasure in extending greetings to the Ladies, Teens, and supporters of Area I on your 50
Leadership Conference under the direction of Lady Annie Mouton, National Area I Director. The
virtual conference will be held March 4 - 6, 2021.

Across the nation we have encountered unprecedented challenges. Despite the destructive fires,
ruinous hurricanes, criminal injustice, political unrest and the invasion of the catastrophic Covid-19
virus that has impacted many lives emotionally, financially, and or physically; Top Ladies of
Distinction forged ahead confronting the challenges and readjusted the way we do business of
providing Service to others.

The conference theme “Transforming Area I Through Recruitment, Reclamation, Retention, and
Recommitment” is appropriate for the times and signifies the dedication of TLOD members to move
forward with the mission and purpose of our beloved organization. The conference planning committee,
along with the members of Area I have worked to develop innovated ways to share, motivate and
showcase Area I accomplishments in our five programmatic thrusts (Top Teens of America, Status of
Women, Senior Citizens, Beautification and Community Partnerships) in addition to other workshops,
competitions, and virtual entertainment.
