Congratulations, Area One, Job Well Done!
You took other individuals’ lemons and made prize winning lemonade! Some of you
went beyond what was expected and baked a lemon meringue pie under less than normal
circumstances.

Area One has always been the cream that rises to the top no matter what the circumstances or situations. 2020

was proof of this! Shortly after we convened our 49 Area One Leadership Conference in Houston, TX, we
experienced not being able to roll up our sleeves in the normal manner as we continued service to youth and
adults. However, you found creative ways to continue our legacy of service. Our eight Visionary Founders are
proud. Your Thrusts and Projects activities continued. You made a difference in our communities and in the
lives of those we serve.

With all of our successful virtual chapter meetings, committee meetings, executive board meetings, service
projects, we are prepared for the 2021 Virtual Area One Leadership Conference. I invite you to join me in Virtual
Land March 4-6, 2021, as we induct new members and Top Teens of America, conduct plenary sessions, breakout
sessions, enjoy the gifts and talents of our Top Teens of America, shop online and much more.

The celebration of our 50 Leadership Conference Anniversary will be held in 2022 when we can meet and greet
each other and our Top Teens of America in person, in a city and hotel, as we revert to our former methods of
conducting Top Ladies and Top Teens of America business.

Thank you, Lady Sharon J. Beard, our dynamic National President of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., for your
vision of service. It is a pleasure serving with you and our other National officers.

A special thank you to our awesome Area One executive board members, dynamic chapter presidents, servant
driven members, gifted and talented Top Teens of America. We continue to give thanks to our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ, for His daily Grace and Mercy. He has brought us this far; He will lead us on.

May the spirit of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, guide our thoughts and actions throughout our conference.
