Happy 50 Leadership Conference Top Ladies, Top Teens, & Lords of Area I!

The challenges surfacing from COVID-19 are creating greater needs in our
communities. Nonprofits are struggling with filling volunteering roles, while the
people in our communities who need these services are growing. Although we
are in a virtual environment, our Top Ladies and Top Teens are still doing the
work for Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. and Top Teens of America as we serve
our various communities. As sung by McFadden & Whitehead, "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now, We're On
The Move!”

The Area I Leadership Conference theme of “Transforming Area One Through Recruitment,
Reclamation, Retention, and Recommitment” reflects your commitment and dedication to keep building
upon the successes as envisioned by our TLOD Founders. During the 2019-2020 program year, Area I
collectively served over 105,000 volunteer hours comprising of more than 890 events and donated over
$91,000! By opening your heart to others and volunteering, you have automatically succeeded and
achieved greatness by giving of yourself for nothing in return. What a testimony! We thank you and
more importantly, the community thanks you!

Congratulations and huge virtual TLOD hugs and thanks to Lady Annie L. Mouton, National Area I

Director for leading the charge for a successful 50 Area I Leadership Conference along with Lady
Jacqueline Carter, Conference Chair and all Top Ladies and Top Teens who assisted. Although we all
would have preferred to be face-to-face, your vision and commitment for a successful conference amidst
this pandemic allowed us to experience and connect virtually and have the opportunity to continue our
quest to learn more about the business of TLOD, Inc. and also have some fun! To all of Area I, enjoy
the conference as we continue to work together to yield positive results and serve as “One TLOD, One
Voice, Endless Possibilities.”
