6.7. Financial Hubs / Social Welfare Payouts

Founder Bert Roux, successfully implemented Social Grant payouts through various organisations both locally
and globally using informal retailers as distribution points. These projects proved to be highly lucrative
ventures for his business as well as the informal retailer distributing the payouts. Bert’s steadfast vision has
been to create a footprint of financially inclusive local retailers in peri-urban and rural areas that have the
ability to provide such financial services to the local communities.

The point at which an A2Pay store becomes a Financial Hubs is the pinnacle point and although not all stores
will qualify for this opportunity, those that do will reap massive rewards.
A2Pay will be rolling out 300 Financial Hubs. These hubs will include cash acceptance and recycling. It will also
act as a payment portal for various beneficiaries.

These will be the first sustainable financial hubs addressing our cash based society.
