“Thank you Miss, this was one of the best days of this school year” said one student after cooking.
In Term 3 we focussed on singular and plural nouns and used different items/things of our daily life to practise the different endings, including kitchen tools. Term 3 cooking lesson was about Spaghetti all’Amatriciana. Students researched the origin of the dish name, discovering the sad news about Amatrice’s earthquake in 2016. They said they would like to sell Spaghetti all’Amatriciana to help those people in need as many restaurants did soon after the earthquake.
