This work is formed by a shiftweave pan
37 chang knot with two groups of different
color knots along the outer border tied using the
loop-sharing technique.
TYING INSTRUCTIONS
1.Tie a purple cord into a 180-degree shiftweave
one up, one down type of pan chang knot.
2.Tie four separate red cords into four cloverleaf
knots with two outer loops by sharing the loops,
and link up the double coin knot with the outer
loop of the major knot.
3.Tie four separate pink cords into four cloverleaf
knots with two outer loops by sharing the loops,
then link them up with the red knot formation by
sharing loops.
This knot is done by combining the tech-
38 niques of the shiftweave pan chang knot
and the pan chang good luck knot, with four rams’
heads along the periphery.
TYING INSTRUCTIONS

knot using the 180-degree shiftweave one up,
one down pan chang knotting technique.
2.Weave along the periphery and tie a ram’s head
with a single cord end.
3. Finally, tie the second layer of the central major
knot using the pan chang good luck knotting
technique.
