Message Alerts
1. You are alerted of new messages and comments to messages in the Notifications area on your
Dashboard page, by an icon bouncing next to the Messages item in your menu bar, and via email.
2. You can view the message or comment by clicking on it in the Notifications area on your
Dashboard page, or by selecting it on the Messages page. You managers will also be alerted to
new messages and comments on their Dashboard page and by the icon in their menu bar.
3. Your managers will receive system wide messages from Manage It if there is a new
announcement about Self Manager that users need to be aware of. These may be new
developments, expected outages or other important changes. An alert will pop up on their
Dashboard to make sure they read it.
