               Managing Budgets
The budgets on Self Manager provides a tool for managers to track their funding expenditure against the
total amount of funding (and hours) allocated in their NDIS plans.
More information about how to set up and track budgets is available in the manager specific help
section, Managing Budgets. It is easiest to manage budgets Acting As a manager to make sure you don’t
get clients and plans mixed up.

Administrator Access on the Budget Page

As an administrator, you have some extra permissions and view options on the Budgets page:
               1. Select Budgets from your menu to access the Budgets page.
               2. If you have Super admin access, you will see a list of all of the managers on your organisation’s
Self Manager system. If you have normal admin access you will only see a list of the managers
                     who are assigned to you.
               3. The table on the page shows an overview over the managers’ Main, current budgets. If they do
not have a Main budget currently assigned, a red notification indicates that no main budget has
been assigned for that manager. This notification also appears if a Main budget has expired.
               4. You can set alerts for, edit, and delete the Main budgets on this page. See the Help section for
Managers for more instructions on how to do this.
               5. To view a list of all of the Budgets assigned to a manager, click on the List All Budgets button next
to that Manager on the Budgets form.
               6. On the All budgets page, you have the option to view or delete the budgets. Managers only have
access to edit and delete their budgets while the budget is still current, providing you have given
them permission to edit their own budgets on their Manager Permissions page. If a manager
makes a mistake when adding a budget and the date has expired, you can use your administrator
access to delete the budget for them.
               7. If a manager has created a budget with a start date in the future, they are unable to view it on
their budget page. You may have to amend the start date on such a budget using the List All
Budgets button on the Budgets form.
