CLUTCH RELEASE BEARING AND PUSHROD

INSTALLATION Install the pushrod and release bearing assembly into 1. the clutch pressure plate. Fit the two ears (6) into the notches in the pressure- 2. release plate. Push in until the clutch-release plate (3) bottoms out against the shoulder in the pressure plate. Install the new large retaining ring (7) to the clutch- 3. release plate, and verify that the ring is fully seated.

The following procedure covers removal of pushrod and

clutch release bearing to facilitate transmission service.
