CHARGING SYSTEM The charging system consists of the alternator and regulator. Charging system circuits are shown in Figure 1-16. The alternator consists of two main components: The rotor which mounts to the engine sprocket shaft. The stator which bolts to the engine crankcase. Voltage Regulator See Figure 1-14.
