Internal communication is a crucial component of
every organization. In times like these, it’s imperative
that all employees are informed and engaged around
the strategy, industry news, and policies that affect
the organization. It’s also imperative that our leader-
ship has the ability to solicit and receive feedback and
ideas from everyone in the organization. We at Kloe-
ckner have many methods of communication such
as meetings, e-mail, Yammer, Sharepoint, and even
television screens; however, there are gaps and short-
comings in all of the channels listed above.

To help tackle this problem, Kloeckner has created
Kloeckwork, our internal engagement application.
Kloeckworks is primarily designed to facilitate 2-way
engagement between employees and leadership whi-
le also providing easier access and answers to com-
mon questions. The highlights of the app in its current
form include the following:

1. The latest Kloeckner, Industry News &
Events
2. Anonymous Feedback to Senior Leadership
3. Surveys
4. Metal Weight Calculator
5. Access to Documents from HR, Benefits, Com
pliance, Safety, etc.

Currently, Kloeckwork is available on the App Store
for iOS devices (iPhone & Ipads) and will be available
in the Android Store soon. Once you install the appli- (PHOTO)
cation, just sign in with your network password.

Our goal is to have everyone install the application
and take a few minutes each week to stay aligned
with the latest critical updates and provide feedback to
management on various issues. We also have some
cool features in the pipeline which we are excited
about as well that we think will be very helpful.
