Allegion is a company that helps
keep people safe and secure where
they live, work, and visit. With more
than 30 brands sold in almost 130
countries across the globe, Allegion
specializes in security around the
doorway and beyond: everything
from residential and commercial
locks, door closer and exit devices,
steel doors and frames to access
control and workforce productivity
systems. In 2019, Kloeckner Metals
provided $20 million of steel to
Allegion, making them one of KMC –
Cincinnati’s biggest customers.

Trane Inc. is a manufacturer of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, and
building management systems and controls. The company is a subsidiary of Ingersoll
Rand and is the successor company to the American Standard Companies. It makes
products under the Trane and American Standard brand names. A global company,
Trane’s international headquarters are in Swords, Ireland. In 2019, Kloeckner Metals
provided over $14 million of steel to Trane out of our Cincinnati branch.
