Managers to assist the branches’ safety
efforts; Monthly Safety Review calls
held by Senior Management with all
Operation Managers to review all the
month’s lost time accidents allowing
for learning and best practice sharing
amongst all of our branches; and,
Annual performance incentive plans
for operations management with a
greater emphasis on safety results and
employee engagement.

Thank you for your participation in
the survey and your efforts to improve
Kloeckner Metals Safety Program as
both have made a significant differ-
ence. Kloeckner Metals is experiencing
a tremendous year over year decline
in not only minor injuries but also inju-
ries serious enough to require time
away from work. While we like to rec-
ognize success, we understand our job
isn’t over. The safety and well-being of
our employees is, and will continue to
be, a core value at Kloeckner Metals.
One that will continue to require
continuous improvement though
feedback and engagement by all
employees and levels of management.
