struggling learners, and rewarding them if they show improvement.
An ideal teacher required in the school for an ideal classroom is one
who creates a positive learning atmosphere, the teacher should be
positive, organised, outgoing, caring, confident and passionate.
Furthermore, one who is a problem solver, in other words, an ideal
teacher who is largely responsible to solve and monitor the
challenges of learners.
An ideal teacher knows where the learners lack in terms of
weaknesses and their learning needs. Moreover, one who does not
fail to understand learners’ difficulties. To add, an ideal teacher
imparts a lifelong impression on the learners by his character, values,
and ethics. Usually one that learners can look up to. Furthermore, an
ideal teacher should never allow learners’ limitations to hinder their
progress. To a large extent, an ideal teacher enhances that
classroom technology holds the key to moulding learners lives into

21 century skills. An educator who acknowledge the use of
technology in the classroom could improve on learner’s academic
competence, this allows for accommodation of multiple-
intelligences, learning styles and needs. An ideal teacher should
utilise all the available resources in the school to foster effective
teaching and learning.
