Battery Technology
The battery system of an electric vehicle must meet the highest
requirements and not solely in terms of achieving the best
possible energy yield over long distances. Drivers also expect
that the costs for the batteries will fall, that the operating life
will be extended and that suitability for everyday use will be
guaranteed in all operating conditions and temperatures.
Moreover, they want the charging time for the cells to be as
short as possible. The batteries in the ID. family will comply
with all of these parameters.
