                                                                                    This month challenge is
                                                                                    connected to the vagus nerve

                                                                                    we discussed on p. 16.



                                                                                    There are plenty of ways to
                                                                                    stimulate the vagus nerve
                                                                                    absolutely naturally and all

                                                                                    are very enjoyable. So, this
                                                                                    month challenge is not really

                                                                                    a challenge, but an invitation
                                                                                    to bring more joy to our lives.



                                                                                    Relaxation techniques such as
                                                                                    breathing exercises and yoga

                                                                                    stimulate vagus nerve activity,
                                                                                    increasing its ability to relieve
                                                                                    anxiety and mood-related

                                                                                    symptoms. Other ways to
                                                                                    naturally stimulate the vagus

                                                                                    nerve include:


                                                                                    • singing

                                                                                    • OM or mantra chanting
                                                                                    • meditating

                                                                                    • showering with cold water
                                                                                    • applying ice water to the
                                                                                    face

                                                                                    • laughing



                                                                                    Let’s do them all throughout
                                                                                    the entire month of
                                                                                    November! Daily!
