DIY Gift Idea: Cocoa Mix

Nothing says “Happy Holidays” quite

like a mug of creamy hot cocoa. While
boxed mix is convenient, it can be loaded
with preservatives and additives. This

mix is easy, delicious, and can be made
in large quantities to give away as gifts in

decorated mason jars!

Use this base mix, then take a look at

our notes for fun things to add before
enjoying or gifting.

Base Cocoa Mix

2 1/4 cups powdered sugar Notes:

1 1/2 cups unsweet dark cocoa powder
1 cup vanilla non-dairy coffee creamer Add crushed candy canes

powder to the mix.
1 tsp fine sea salt
2 tbsp cornstarch Add mini chocolate chips

to the mix.
Combine all the ingredients in a large

bowl and whisk together. Include a packet of mini
