SECONDARY CAMPUS TARDY MARKING
Tardies on secondary campuses may be entered by teachers or may be marked using the tardy kiosk Skyward program.
Arrival to school tardies should be marked in the attendance office using the Tardy Kiosk program.
Secondary teachers should not enter a tardy code when taking student attendance for the FIRST PERIOD. All late arrivals
for the first period should be entered in the office. Attendance office personnel will determine which late arrivals are
tardies and which are period absences.
There is no situation in which three tardies equal one absence. Tardies are considered a discipline issue and are not
part of attendance accounting.
