Company time, supplies, equipment, and facilities may not be used for committee
activities or for writing technical papers, and Molzen Corbin’s support staff may not
be used during business hours to assist with such activities. Exceptions may only be
made in selected circumstances and with prior approval by the Technical Department
Leader.

expects that employees will make available, at Company expense, in the office the
main publications of the organizations to which they belong.
C. CONTINUING EDUCATION
An employee’s professional effectiveness is a product of efforts to increase
knowledge and abilities. Molzen Corbin will make every reasonable attempt to adjust
work assignments to permit attendance at seminars and training sessions that can
help employees stay abreast of rapidly expanding technology in their respective field.
1. Seminars. Molzen Corbin encourages our employees to attend seminars
related to their field of expertise and job responsibilities. However, strict
budgets are established annually for seminar expenses, including travel,
lodging, meals, and fees. Therefore, approval of seminar attendance and
expenses is necessary prior to any seminar. All seminar registrations require
the approval of the Technical Department Leader and Chief Executive
Officer.
2. College Courses/Training Programs. If courses of instruction are directly
related to your assigned duties within Molzen Corbin, financial aid may be
available. Your application for financial assistance will be considered by the
Officers on the basis of your length of service with the Company, available
funds, and the applicability of the course of study to the present and future
needs of Molzen Corbin. You are expected to pay for the instruction, fees,
and materials and may be reimbursed anywhere from fifty percent (50%) to
one hundred percent (100%) upon successful completion of the course.
Assistance will be for tuition reimbursement only.
If you are taking a course at the request of Molzen Corbin, the responsibility
for all travel, fees, and other authorized expenses is assumed by Molzen
Corbin. Time out of the office during normal working hours to attend such a
course will be counted as regular hours worked.
