In August they have planned a Progressive Dinner (details to be announced). It’s a wonderful way to meet your neigh-
bors. We hope that many of our newest members will plan to attend. Beth and Carol’s tireless efforts to make every
event outstanding has helped us to increase our membership and raise additional funds to fulfi ll our purpose.

The Broadway Shows which we attend have always been a particular highlight. Susan Lelchuk manages to get us
tickets to the most sought after shows. Among others, this year we saw Hello Dolly with Bette Midler, Carousel, Come
From Away and Dear Evan Hansen.

Once again Cookie Edell and Irene Bochner put together an outstanding Book and Author Luncheon. The featured
speaker was Lauren Belfer, the New York Times best-selling author. Proceeds from this event are going to Habitat for
Humanity Suffolk and Building Together Long Island. Representatives from these organizations will attend our Annu-
al Membership Luncheon to receive their checks.

Sandy Shulman has been the Vice-President of our Singles and Others Group which for us seems like forever. Working
from Florida for half the year she manages to plan activities for the group that has now grown to over 100 members.

There are so many women who work hard to make our organization this great. We thank you all and here’s to another
successful year at our lives at The Greens.
