Taking into account a few most recent posts from GivingPoint, we noticed that GivingPoint averages about 20 likes per post on Instagram as compared to about 5 for Facebook, and 1 for Twitter. Moreover, GivingPoint seems to receive the most likes when posting photographs on each of the platforms. The Instagram follower base especially seems to be more reactive to photographs rather than geometrical visuals and text as there is an increase of average likes from 20 to 28. This increase in follower engagement is not surprising as many marketing tools providers such as HubSpot claim thativ:
(1) content with relevant images rack up 94% more views than content without images,
(2) compared to other types of content, visual content is more than 40 times more likely to get shared on social media, and
(3) Instagram photos showing faces get 38% more likes than photos without faces.
That said, GivingPoint seems to be doing a great job at maintaining a well- designed and consistent Instagram aesthetic with similar colors and photographs that engage followers.
