Celebrating Life Won Back from Breast Cancer

As September drew to a close,
some 720 breast cancer survivors
and their families, friends and
supporters joined with members of
the Austin alumnae chapter of Zeta
Tau Alpha and other invited guests
to celebrate life.
The 2018 Celebration of
Life Luncheon took place at the
Suzanne Erickson, Armondo Zambrano, Lauren Petrowski
Fairmont Austin hotel downtown.
The annual luncheon marked its
20th anniversary, and the event once
again served as a fundraiser for the
Seton Breast Care Center (SBCC),
a comprehensive facility at Seton
Medical Center Austin. It offers
affordable, accessible state-of-the-
art imaging technology along with
numerous patient support services.
Since opening in February 2014,
SBCC has cared for more than 8,500
patients, with more than 30 percent
of services provided to patients
without insurance.
Kendra Scott served as emcee
for the event. The highlight was a
Lara Burns, Britta Klucznik, Katie Dere, Marcia Levy
fashion show featuring the latest fall
