THE POWER OF TAKING THE PLUNGE

correlation between your hand and the brain. If
you write out a goal or take notes in class rather
than type or text. I suppose the brain absorbs
or digests it better (my layman’s terms).

Measurable. First, look at where you are or your
current condition. Then, after you have the
specific goal in mind, measure your daily or
weekly progress. Remember to write it out

clearly. Something magical seems to happen in
the brain when we see it clearly. If you can’t
write it in your own words, then you missed out
on clarity. So, make the goal specific and
measure the progress (write it down).

Actionable. You must take some immediate
action once you have set the goal. It should be
incremental action. Remember this, “By the
yard it’s hard, by the inch it’s a cinch.”

Realistic. The goal should be just out of reach
but not completely out of sight. It must be
believable to you. This is where your faith plays
               a major role.
