Now as they were gathered in the upper-room they went out from Jerusalem. He
took them out as far as Bethany and ascended the road to the Mount of Olives.
He said to them go to the entire world and teach my gospel to the whole creation.

condemned. He lifted up has hands and blessed them and breathed one them
receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire. I am with you eternally. When he
had finished speaking these things he ascended to heaven. Two men stood by in
white robes and as they looked toward him as he ascended a cloud received him
and he was hidden from them. Peter and John said to those who stood watching
the ascension men of Galilee why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This
same Jesus, who has ascended from you into heaven, shall so come in like
manner as you have seen him ascend into heaven. The raised their hands and
worshipped and returned to Jerusalem from the mount which is called Olivet
which is near to Jerusalem about a mile away. There were over 500 eye

and Andrew; James and John; Philip and Nathaniel; Matthew and Thomas;
James the son of Alpheus and Simon the Zealot and Judas the Son of James.
