Post retirement life……
At Mumbai Airport Lounge spotted Rahul Dravid. Hardy anyone
else noticed him.
On saying “Hello”, he nodded with smile. After group photo he
vanished.
Felt sorry to see him sitting unnoticed. Even in cricketing
fraternity, not a sought after figure. Played his role coolly, quit
and went into oblivion.
Subconscious mind started comparing. Looks like we both in
same boat.
No politics or godfathers, no hanky-panky or favoritism, never
made subordinates feel bonsai. Why world would notice us
then?
We are bound to lead post-retirement life of unknown.
It may look bad socially but deep inside its pretty serene &
calm……..
