The bus driver………
During New Zealand visit we were warned about “strict” time
schedules of Government buses. We wrongly heard “strict
driver” and terrified to think about Indian bus drivers.
Contrary, driver was a jovial person with vast knowledge about
area. At Church of Good Shepherd, he informed the associated
story of a shepherd who leaves his flock of ninety-nine sheep in
order to find the one which is lost.
He entertained us with countryside songs and folklores of Lake
Tekapo and Mount Cook. Hearing him was like good music to
ears.
On reaching Mount Cook, driver smilingly waved and left for
different destination….
