SHRADDHANJALI

Smt. Vimal Sachdeva, a staunch devotee of
Pujya Gurudev, passed away peacefully on June 8,
2017. The Chautha prayer meeting was held at
Chinmaya Mission, Lodhi Road on the 11th, amidst
swamis, relatives, friends and many Chinmaya
devotees. Born on August 28, 1924, in a Radha
Soami family, she met Pujya Gurudev in 1960. While
her husband Sri Yograj Sachdeva conducted study
classes, she led the Balavihar groups. Their home
became a de facto centre for Chinmaya Mission.
She leaves behind six children – Neelam, Poonam, Rakesh, Rajesh, Anil
and Sunil, who have contributed immensely to Chinmaya Mission. We
offer our heartfelt condolences to them.
